CCAE - All of Adult Education Working Together

CCAE is unique.  No other adult education organization serves the wide range of stake-holders that CCAE does: students, teachers, classified employees, and administrators who work or have an interest in California’s adult education system.  CCAE membership supports scholarships, professional development, legislative action and reform, professional networking, community involvement, and more.  Your membership is vital in creating a link between colleagues in adult education settings, large and small.  But the single most important benefit of membership is that you know that you support the adult education programs that are so vital to students seeking to create a richer, more fulfilling life for themselves and for the families.

Adult education serves diverse populations of students throughout the state of California.  Adult education provides learners with an opportunity to earn their high school diploma or GED, learn English, improve skills, learn new skills, and advance at their place of employment - usually with little or no cost to the student.  Adults are able to re-examine their goals and take positive steps toward making better lives for themselves and their families.  Adult education and the people who work in adult ed. change lives - for the better!
